Getting the Receiver's Bonding process started with Viking is easy. There are several ways to get started on a Receiver's Bond with Viking:
A Receiver's Bond is a type of Judicial/Court Surety Bond that may be required by courts in cases where a Receiver will
be appointed to manage fiduciary duties while the court works to resolve the case. If a Receiver is appointed in the case,
and a Receiver's Bond is required, the Receiver must post the Bond prior to proceeding with the assigned fiduciary duties.
The Receiver's Surety Bond serves to ensure that a Receiver acts within the scope of the Receiver's permitted authority.
If a Receiver acts outside of the permitted authority, claims can be made against the Receiver's Bond. Claims made against
Receiver's Bonds may require permission from the court that appointed the Receiver.
As with most Surety Bonds, if a valid claim is presented, the Surety will pay on the claim in accordance with the Bond
language. The principal, the Receiver, is ultimately responsible for any amount paid on the Bond.
The Receiver's Bond is called by Receiver Bond, and Receivership Bond as well. Bankruptcy Receiver's Bond is a type of
Receiver's Bond.
Viking works with markets that welcome Receiver's Bonds. Rates for these bonds will vary based on the quality of credit
and in some cases, financials. The better the credit, and financials if required, the better the rate. Poor credit will
typically receive higher quotes and/or additional conditions but can still be approved.
